France is a country located in Western Europe. It’s area is 674,843 kilometers squared. It is the second biggest country in Europe and the biggest country in Western Europe.
The countries bordering it are Spain at the southwest, Germany to the northeast, Switzerland to the east, Luxembourg to the northeast, Belgium to the northeast-north, Andorra to the southwest and Italy to the southeast.
Its currency is Euros. The highest mountain in France Mount Blanc, which is in the Alps, and that is the tallest mountain in Europe. Its longest river is the river Loire. Its Capital is Paris, which is also the largest city in France.
They fish, mine coal, bauxite, iron ore and zinc and they cut trees for timber. The religions of people are like this, they were ninety percent Roman Catholic, they were two percent Protestant, they were one percent Jewish, they were three percent Muslim, and four percent of them were unaffiliated.
I chose to do this report on France because I really like Charles The Great (Charlemagne) and Clovis I who started Paris. And also I chose it because of its famous landmarks for example, the Eiffel tower, and the Louvre.
